Hey folks. This is Badge, dipping her toe back into DW RP for a bit with this game. I have two characters at the moment with a third in the works:

This is Accord. She's the Archivist and Librarian for Hero High. "She" is also a collective of identical female androids whose primary task when not working here is to record timelines and locate ones which have the ideal circumstances to seal away and prevent multiversal apocalyptic contamination. In fact, she may even be monitoring YOUR dimension if you want -- just let me know in the comments if that would be okay or not.

She also might be way too interested in your weapons. Just saying.

The other character is Shigeo "Mob" Kageyama. He's nothing special. Just an unathletic, underachieving, somewhat boring middle school student who just happens to be one of the most powerful natural psychics from his own world. No biggie. Just... don't knock him unconscious. And don't mind that number that slowly ticks up to 100 in some of his posts. That's... that's just flavor. Yeah.

Folks can contact me at [plurk.com profile] dragomorph If they need to. And keep an eye out for Student #2 later...

Uh, hello everyone! I'm David and this is my first time back to RP in like 5 years! It's a pleasure to be joining you all! Right now I have one character.

Uraraka is from My Hero Academia. In that world, almost everyone is super and has a "quirk" Her quirk is called Zero Gravity and it allows her to make things that she touches float, including herself. However, if she uses it too much, it makes her nauseous, kinda like motion sickness. She's super friendly and is a great person to have in your corner, but she's easily swept up in her friends ambitions and lets herself get overshadowed at times.

I look forward to having fun with everyone and getting to flex my creative muscles again! Woo!

WHAT'S UP IT'S YA BOY KASU LIVE FROM HEROES HIGH AND BACK AT IT AGAIN AT THE RP GAME YEAAAAH

... ahem. Sorry. I'm a little under the weather and a little loopy.

I'm going to be bringing in two characters to start: one student, and one faculty.

The student is MN-37, but y'all can call her Mina. She's a Hero of Earth, one of the V Warriors, and a nigh-legendary warrior... or at least, she will be in the future. At the point she's dropping into Hero High, she's not even halfway through her journey.

Mina's an medical android who escaped from her creators to go and discover the world, and unfortunately got caught up in the invasion of Earth by the Ragunians. Most of her abilities are either innate medical tech or self-modified weapons tech, mostly dealing with energy redirection or deliberate misuse of medical tools. She's very energetic and a little naive about the ways of the world, but she's willing to learn! And experiment.

The faculty is FBI Special Agent Francis York Morgan. Please, call him York. That's what everyone calls him.

He's a Serial Homicide investigator, one of the best of the FBI's police force, and... more than a little quirky. If you don't know who he is, think an alternate universe Dale Cooper from Twin Peaks who talks to himself his partner, Zack (who nobody can see) and shoots zombies in a hellish otherworld.

Deadly Premonition is a fucking weird game, okay?

Now that his time in Greenvale, Washington is done, though, he's taking it easy as a Professor of Investigation and Critical Thinking, while also holding electives in Firearm Marksmanship and Contemporary Pop Culture History.

'sup losers. This is Emily AKA a deer pretending to be human, and I've got two characters coming into Hero High.

First up is Ashlyn Silvermane, an OC from a superhero setting. She's a teenage genius who lost her parents in Red December, an incident where a famous superhero turned rogue. She joined the the Valor Corps (think Justice League) junior division when they set up shop in her home city with the intention of watching them from the inside. She's notable for both having zero powers and for not using a cover identity.

She's very eccentric, but also motivated by justice!!!!1 She has major trust issues and also major anti-supers bias, but if you get past that she's really nice? She also builds robots and other technological marvels. Expect a flying car some time in the future.

And this is Princess Gratin. She's from Dragonball but, like, a thousand years in the future? The alien Ragu Empire was a threat to Earth in the past, but is now ruled by a good(?) Ragunian, who also married one of the warriors who defended Earth. Gratin is a child of that union, a half-human who... still looks pretty alien by most people's standards. She's a chinchilla furry, basically.

The Ragunians are a warrior race, but Gratin is the picture of a perfect human princess - polite, well-mannered, sophisticated. Her parents wonder what's wrong with her, basically. She'll love having a chance to learn and interact with a wide variety of people, though! Plz treat her well.

Hiyas!

Hiyas! This is Kaja, and I'm bringing in a couple of OCs. This here journal is for Deimonea, who's a major troll thanks to being an incarnation of nightmares who feeds off the terror she causes. But she's friendly when she's not being a troll, inquisitive, and free-spirited. She will be teaching art, 'subtle tactics' (an euphemism the school insisted on for all sorts of dirty tricks), and whatever the hell she feels like, really. Her favorite class to teach is Resisting Your Fears, because she gets to expose students to their fears.

I'll also be bringing in Rosy Maze of Climbing Mists (Rosy for short), who is an ex-human/desire spirits who went astray and started blackmailing and taking revenge upon people who abandon or mistreat children (because of her own experience being dumped in a heavily warded occult library with no one but her sister and sub-sapient spirit curators who could barely hold a conversation about their own narrowly focused subjects). So, yeah, she needs some remedial ethics lessons. She'll also be taking advantage of the many educational opportunities on campus because where else do you get the chance to learn some of this stuff?

Hello

Am I the first person to post an OOC intro? There weren't any when I clicked the "post" button, but I'm insane and chose three characters, then decided to just make one post for all three of them rather than three posts introducing myself over and over again. So this will be a bit elaborate, and other people will probably have time to post something before I do. On the other hand it's late and I'm probably the only-you know what I'm overthinking this.

Sup it's Eric. I'm bringing in Keine Kamishirasawa from Touhou Project, Tsuyu Asui from My Hero Academia, and Rafael "Superego" Cardenas from Valor Corps.

Keine is a youkai who has a variety of magic powers, the most notable of which is the power to "devour history", which effectively means she can hide things so that there's no sign they were ever there. HERE, she's a teacher who mainly teaches history, but also occasionally delves into more esoteric subjects, such as "Advanced Temporal Mechanics", "How to Dodge", and various magical theory classes. She'll like you if you honestly apply yourself and work hard at your studies. She won't like you if you're lazy and try to cheat. She has been known to headbutt people.

Tsuyu is a trainee superhero. Her world is one where something like 80% of the population is born with some kind of "quirk" aka a Superpower. Some are useful, some aren't. Tsuyu's power is that she is to frogs as Peter Parker is to spiders. She can jump dozens of feet through the air and grab stuff with her sticky tongue that can extend alarmingly far. She's either rudely blunt or refreshingly straightforwards depending on how much you like her, doesn't like cold weather, and is from a whole family of frog people.

Rafael is also a trainee superhero of sorts. He's an OC from a table top RPG campaign inspired mostly by Teen Titans, in which the Valor Corps (think Justice League or Avengers) has deployed a group of relatively inexperienced teenaged superheroes to protect Ace City from the forces of evil. Rafael, AKA "Superego", is the half-alien son of Elemental, who is basically this world's version of Superman. Elemental decided humanity couldn't be trusted with self-rule and tried to take over the world so he could rule us himself, but was defeated in a climactic battle during December 2000, when Rafael was an infant. Now the Valor Corps is watching him suspiciously while he tries to prove that he isn't going to repeat the mistakes of his father. There are more details in his journal.

I'm on plurk as [plurk.com profile] overbringer, if anyone here doesn't already have me added. Here is a picture of me with a cat.
